About Dr Tommy Tran

Dr Tommy Tran graduated from the University of Queensland with degrees in Physiotherapy and Medicine/Surgery both with First Class Hours. He completed his Paediatric Fellowship in 2012 and is a member of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP).

Dr Tran is the founding director of two Paediatric Practices where he currently consults - Paeds in a Pod & Paediatric Outreach Services providing services to children throughout Queensland and Northern New South Wales. He has extensive experience in telehealth, providing services to thousands of children in regional and remote areas of Queensland.

Dr Tran understands that your child's health and wellness concerns extend beyond routine medical care and is here to guide you in all matters of your child's health.

Outside of medicine, Dr Tran spends most weekends chauffeuring his three children between cricket and ballet. He is married to Leanne Tran who is a child and adolescent psychologist at Paeds in a Pod. He is an avid runner, albeit at a fairly slow pace.
